We visited Anguilla from April 3-8 2019 and stayed at indigo reef villas, our accommodation was in the gardenia villa which has a king size bed huge bathroom, full kitchen, and an amazing roof deck. There was enough space for 2 adults and 1 child. The grounds are beautiful with lush flowering plants and with a swimming pool. This is pretty much an ocean front villa with amazing sunrise and sunsets views. Very airy and bright, and listening to the sounds of the ocean at night and waking up to them was relaxing .
Walking on the beach at the villas was amazing lots of corals and shells clean and you pretty much have it all to yourself. The area was very quiet but only a 5 minute drive from everything we needed. Our trip started before we got to Anguilla. I spoke to Ingrid who is charge of the villas and she is just a good hearted person who helped me plan this trip over the phone. I spoke to her once and felt like I’ve know her for years. Very accommodating and warm personality. She gave me information on the the easiest and budget friendly way to get there and as well as rental car info and where to eat and areas to visit.
All the beaches in Anguilla is a must see and I can’t pick a favorite but my daughter seems to like mundays bay the most. Special hello to mike and Morgan who visited us daily and made sure everything was good. Also drove by Ingrid’s other property, Bella vista, the name says it all ... amazing views. Already spoke to Ingrid, and making plans for our next visit ...

Our family of four have stayed at Poinsettia in March. Our stay there was so relaxing and enjoyable, I could not recommend it more. The villa is very well kept, grounds are beautifully landscaped. Somebody came to clean and bring fresh towels every day. Kids liked the pool and the beach. The beach is about 100 feet away down the road. It is not for adults swimming (full of coral) but was perfect for my 3 year old who is afraid of the waves - there is a nice tidepool there, protected by the reef and just a couple of feet deep. Girls found a lot of shells and even some live coral. The roof deck is very nice - we watched sunset there while sipping on wine and read books during the evening. You can hear the waves breaking at the reef and the weather was perfect every day.
The villa is very private, quite, well decorated and well kept. There is a washer and a dryer (which is essential if you travel with kids) and somebody even folded our clothes for us! Ingrid and Sydney and all the staff are very nice. They went out of their way to make our stay amazing. I forgot a personal item at the villa and they mailed it to me. I definitely plan to be back.
If you plan to go to Anguilla, I recommend renting a car - there are several amazing beached just 5 minutes away from Poinsettia and they all have restaurants. Four Seasons is two minutes away and I recommend it for drinks at sunset and some appetizers. There are a bunch of good bands on the island and we went to enjoy some live music several times.
